What if I have lost my membership card?
Call the Membership Department at 904.366.6911 or email membership[at]mocajacksonville.org, for a replacement card.
How can I use my guest passes?
Guest passes may be used for one-time free general admission to the Museum and are collected at Guest Relations upon admission. Give them to family or friends visiting from out-of-town, or use them to introduce a friend to MOCA Jacksonville. Guest passes are not valid for special events.
May family members or friends use my membership card?
MOCA Jacksonville memberships and membership cards are not transferable. Some membership levels include “guest” membership cards that may be given to whomever the primary member wishes, and are good for the full 12-months of membership. “Guests” of the Museum receive all of the benefits of the primary member, including free admission to exhibition openings and discounts on tickets to special events.
Does MOCA Jacksonville offer military discounts?
Yes, general admission to the Museum for Military/Military family members with a valid I.D. is $4. Military/Military family members also receive a $20 discount off an individual or Dual/Family membership level.
What is a reciprocal membership?
MOCA Jacksonville participates in the North American Reciprocal Program, or NARM. By purchasing a membership of Icon level, or higher, you receive free admission to over 200 Museums in North America. View a complete list of museums in the North American Reciprocal Program.
How long is my membership good for, and will I receive a reminder in the mail to renew my membership?
Your MOCA Jacksonville membership is good for 12 months. You will receive a reminder to renew that will be mailed to you one month prior to your expiration date.
My membership expired, yet I’m still receiving information on MOCA Jacksonville events. Why?
You will continue to receive news on Museum events for three months following your expiration date. To discontinue this service, please call 904-366-6911.
Is my membership tax deductible?
All Museum memberships are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
How can I become more involved in the Museum?
There are two great ways to become involved: become a volunteer and/or a docent! Volunteers are always needed to help with special events such as exhibition openings, or administrative work such as Museum mailings. Docents are needed to give guided tours to schools and other tour groups and receive special training from our education department.
